Your florist may want to come out to the farm the day before your event. To plan a set up time, just call to make an appointment. If you'd like information on local florists you can download our guide below.

Will you have a bar tender/bar service? Please ask your bartender to clean up the bar area before they leave at the end of the night. We also have coffee makers available, but require you to bring your own supplies and someone to brew and serve it.

Be prepared for rain, cold, heat or bugs… it is out of our control. Our motto is keep it simple and enjoy the day with family and friends.  Wear comfortable shoes and clothes!!! It is an outside event to bring bug repellent for you and your guests just in case, after all this is Upper Michigan. Maximum amount of guests in Oct. is 150 so everyone can fit in the barn.

When will you decorate?    The barn and property are very beautiful as is.  You don't need to add too much.  Perhaps a crew of friends and family can help.  You may have the opportunity to rent the farm the day before for 5 hours if that day is available for set up, or we can  put the linens on the tables the morning of the wedding.  Your crew can put your table decorations on after that!

Have caterers come out to site at least a week in advance to get an idea of set up and take down. Caterers are responsible for all serving utensils, cleaning and set up, as well as packaging remaining food. We do not have a dishwasher and space for washing dishes.

Are you going to have your service/ ceremony at the farm? Depending on the schedule, we will do our very best to accommodate your needs as far as having a rehearsal here.
